Press release LED

It’s hardly surprising that the latest development in the evolution of wearable art comes from Zinoz. Their new LED shirt follows their previous innovations in the areas of high-tech graphics and messaging, and uses LED technology to create a vibrant animated effect that’s virtually impossible to ignore.

The very first products that will use Zinoz’s new LED technology will be LED shirts for the FIFA World Cup 2010, to be held in South Africa. The FIFA LED shirts will feature, appropriately enough, soccer-related graphics.

LED shirts represent the fourth technology introduced by the messaging wizards at Zinoz, after electroluminescence, lenticular and Lenticulite.

Zinoz’s LED shirts use LED lights in three colors (red, blue and yellow). When activated, these produce an arresting animated effect in a fixed pattern, which operates on a 60-second cycle.
The LED components can be removed from the shirt, so the Zinoz LED shirt is completely washable.

Shortly after their debut at FIFA, Zinoz will launch a new collection of LED shirts. This line will consist of several designs from Zinoz, as well as licensed cartoon characters such as The Pink Panther (MGM owns the ancillary rights and trademarks to the Pink Panther franchise).

LED shirts from Zinoz are available for both men and women, with short or long sleeves, and in a variety of colors.
